Our favourite music from Prodigy

So sad news that Prodigy from Mobb Deep passed away a couple of days ago. Such a huge inspiration and some of our all time music came from his voice.

Albert “Prodigy” Johnson was born in Hempstead, New York and grew up in LeFrak City. He met Kejuan “Havoc” Muchita in school and together they started the duo “The Poetical Prophets” which later became “The Infamous Mobb Deep”.

They dropped their first album “Juvenile Hell” in 1993 but got their first breakthrough with their second album “The Infamous” in 1995. With guest like Q-Tip, Nas, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah it’s still one of the best albums to this day. Songs like “Survival of the Fittest”, “Give Up the Goods (Just Step)”, “Right Back at You”, “Shook Ones Pt. II” and “Eye for a Eye (Your Beef Is Mines)” will forever be classics.

Prodigy have a long career behind him and we’ve collected some of our favourite song from his music history. We will never stop listen.
